Settling into a new space
“Congratulations on settling into your new place! Wishing you a smooth move, friendly neighbors, and wonderful memories in your new neighborhood.”
A new-home card rarely needs to be long. The person is surrounded by boxes, the card will end up on a windowsill for a fortnight, and the message that works is one sentence that is about the living rather than the buying.
Everything here is under 25 words. None of it mentions the price, the area, the ladder or the mortgage, which also means every message works for a rental, a first place alone, a downsize or a move that followed something the person has not explained.
Use this set for colleagues and for anyone you are pleased for without being close to — short keeps it warm without presuming an invitation. For a friend whose search you followed through every near-miss, the main housewarming page has messages with room to reference it.
